IG POST - Discovering Fishing - Spring 2024 - 1

There is nothing like the feeling when a fish takes your bait. BAM! Want to have that feeling? Discovering Fishing is an introductory class at Dupree Lake in Dupree Park designed to teach the participant the basics of this wonderful recreational activity. You'll learn the equipment needed and how to use it, when the best fishing times are (or supposed to be!) and best practices once you've caught a fish. All equipment is provided.
Participants must be 18 years old, or older than 6 years old with a consenting adult at all times

1. Use of a credit/debit card will incur a $1.95 processing fee.
2. A refund request must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the start of the program.
3. Programs with $5 or under fee will not be refunded as that is the minimum administration fee.
4. In the event a program is cancelled by the parks and recreation department, a full refund will be made to all registered participants.
5. Credits are not authorized for missed classes or program dates for any reason.
6. The Parks and Recreation Director reserves the right to review and make the final decision on all refunds.
