Programs
Nothing compares to exploring our lakes, rivers and creeks in North Georgia and a great way to do it is in a kayak. In Discovering Kayaking you will learn water safety, kayaking basics and spend some time on the water of Lake Allatoona with Michael Murphy and his staff from Murph's Surf. This is fun for the whole family and a fantastic way to enjoy the abundance of nature that our community provides.
The program will be approximately 1.5 hours. After that, you may keep the kayak for the remainder of a 4-hour rental. Make a day of it!

Minimum weight is 85 lbs.
Maximum weight is 300 lbs
No refunds for Discovering Kayaking, rescheduling may be possible if the schedule allows.

1. A refund request must be submitted at least 7 business days prior to the start of the program.
2. Programs with $5 or under fee will not be refunded as that is the minimum administration fee.
3. In the event a program is cancelled by the parks and recreation department, a full refund will be made to all registered participants.
4. Credits are not authorized for missed classes or program dates for any reason.
5. The Parks and Recreation Director reserves the right to review and make the final decision on all refunds.
